It’s Teri and Pete’s Wedding Day!!!

11 Jul

Sometimes we work with our couples closely via phone and email.  One of the things we love about San Diego is that couples from near and far choose America’s Finest City to celebrate their wedding.  A few weeks ago we got a call from a bride, Teri, who lives out of town. She found us through her photographer and was looking for day-of coordination for her wedding.  When she told us her wedding day, July 11 (a Monday), we instantly knew she was a perfect fit for us.  We worked closely over the past few weeks via phone and email to iron out all the final details and were so excited to meet her in person this past Friday.

Teri and her fiance Pete met on July 11th at the river and wanted that to be their wedding anniversary.  It didn’t matter to them that it was unconventional, in fact, we think that is so them.  He proposed one year ago, back at the river, where he wrote out the words “Will you row with me through the river of life?” and today, they will be married in the heart of Balboa Park.  We cannot wait to help them celebrate their wedding this afternoon, especially with an amazing team of vendors.

A special thank you and YOU ROCK goes out to Chana and Don who shot their engagement shoot on Friday, edited their photos on Saturday and had enlarged prints ready for the wedding today!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE HAPPY COUPLE!!!

Real Wedding: Emma and Max

5 Jan

Emma and Max went a little untraditional for their wedding.  The couple decided on an intimate ceremony for immediate family in Balboa Park followed by a thrilling party for 300 at Marina Village.  Some of our favorite parts of Emma and Max’s wedding were the mariachi band (truly awesome!) and the fusing of Mexican and Salvadorian traditions.  The dance floor was packed all night!  A special thank you to I Against I Photography for the pictures!
