Vera Wang is at the forefront of wedding fashion. So when her new collection comes out, the wedding world watches to see what she comes up with. For her Spring 2012 collection, she played off black and nude undergarments. Vera describes the collection as “both mysterious and sexy, frivolous and fun, with transparent wisps of carefully organized tulle.” The collection will be in the NYC boutique in late October and LA to follow.

• Choose your hairstyle before choosing your veil.
• Your hairstyle should be flattering to the shape of your face, as well as your height.
• In general, taller brides should avoid tall hair-do’s.
• Choose a hairstyle that doesn’t disguise or overwhelm you, but rather brings out your best look.
• A guiding factor should not be replicating a hot trend; rather see what looks best on you.
• Be wary of hair extensions on your big day.
• If you are wearing a vintage-style gown, go with a modern hair-do to avoid a costume feeling.
